Raymond E. Trivett, 74, of Aylett, died at his home on October 8, 2006. He was the Postmaster of Aylett for 15 years. His beloved wife, Myrtle A. Trivett; and his beloved daughter, Laura T. Henley preceded him in death.

His devoted and beloved daughter, Eva Trivett; and beloved great-granddaughter, Tori McCroskey; daughter, Cathy T. McCroskey and her husband, Richard McCroskey; two beloved grandsons, Richie McCroskey and Davey Jones; one beloved and devoted granddaughter, Michelle Jones and her fiance', John Heath, survive him.

A beloved brother, William E. Trivett and his wife, Clara; along with his beloved sister, Margaret T. Moore and her husband, William; two loving nieces, Marie Campbell and Susan Clegg; and one devoted and special friend, Karen Didlake, also survive him. Also surviving him is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be loved and missed forever.
Interment will be at Hanover Memorial Park.Raymond was born to Charles McClide and Irene Gressett Trivett. He married Myrtle Alley.
