Mrs. Andrew Sampson, 89 died Monday, April 21, at her home in Bosworth, Missouri. She had been in failing health ever since December of last year but her condition had been serious for the past two weeks.
The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church in Bosworth at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Stark of Mendon and the body was buried in the Wharton cenetary
Her maiden name was Abbie A. Finley. She was born in the county, August 20, 1863. Her parents were James Wesley and Sarah Jane Finley. The most of her life was spent in the immediate vicinity of Bosworth, where she has always been quite well known.
Her husband, who preceded her in death was Andrew L. Sampson. They were married in October, 1882. They were the parents of five children of whom there are now living a daughter and a son, Mrs. Pearl Koch of the home and William Hugh Sampson of Marshall. Her deceased children were Hattie, Frankie and Wesley. She is survived by a sister Mrs. Thomas Carrol of Bosworth and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren
She became a member of the church in her girlhood and after going to Bosworth she united with the Christian church there. There she was a regular attendant at church and Sunday school. For a number of years she was the oldest mother present at Mother's Day services at the church.
She was a kind and loving mother, a devoted wife and a good friend. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends and associates in the Bosworth community.

Mrs. Abbie Annace Sampson died Monday afternoon around three o'clock at her home in Bosworth, Missouri. She had been in failing health since last December.
Born August 20, 1863, she was the daughter of Wesley and Sarah Finley. She was born in Carroll county and spent her entire life in Missouri.
At the age of nineteen, she was married to Andrew Sampson to this union, six children were born, two having died in infancy, a son, Wesley, died last July. The three surviving children are Mrs. H. O. Frieben, Concordia, MO.; Mrs. Pearl Koch, Bosworth and W. H. Sampson, Marshall. One sister, Mrs. Tom Carroll, Bosworth and a number of grand children and great grandchildren survive. She was a member of the Christian church at Bosworth.
Services in her memory will be held at the Christian church in Bosworth, Wednesday, April 23 at 2:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. T. Earl Starke. Burial will be in Wharton cemetery.

Mrs. Andrew Lee Sampson, 88, mother of W. H. Sampson, 997 South Redman, Marshall, MO.; passed away at her home in Bosworth Monday afternoon. April 21, at 3 o'clock. She has been ill since Christmas and her condition had been critical for the last two weeks.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Christian church in Bosworth conducted by the Reverend Stark. Interment was in the family lot at the Wharton cemetery near Bosworth, by the side of her husband who passed away in 1938.
Those from Marshall who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sampson, Mr. and Mrs. James Mayfield, Miss Mary Roscher, Miss Charlene Cox, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Rhoads and Mrs. Harry Fall.
