Brooklet - Winnie S. Lowe, 82, died late Saturday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a homemaker and a member of Brooklet Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Weta Boaen, Springfield; a son, Jack Lowe, Brooklet; two sisters, Esther Gladin, Pooler, and Sue Campbell, Statesboro; two brothers, Woodrow Smith, Brooklet, and Henry Smith, Vermont; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with Elder Shelton Mikel and Elder Lavone Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
