OBITUARY

HENRY QUIETT, son of CYRUS QUIETT and NANCY (UNDERWOOD) QUIETT, was born in Paris, Ill., March l8, l852, and died suddenly at his home in Leon, Iowa, May 24, l925, his age at death being 73 years, 2 months and 6 days. He was a member of the Methodist Church, having been converted and entered the church in 1891.

He was married June l, l875, to MARIAH GILREATH. His wife, five sons, CALVIN, ARTHUR, GROVER, LAWRENCE and NEAL, and one daughter, MRS. MYRTLE ALEXANDER, survive with two grandchidlren, NANCY LOUISE and BETTY ANNE QUIETT, and one aged sister, JANE BRADSHAW, of Grand River, Iowa. Besides these many other relatives and numerous friends, whose hearts go out to the stricken family.

Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J.E. Habliston and Rev. Claud Studebaker. Interment in the Leon Cemetery.

MR. H.C. QUIETT died quite suddenly at his home in Leon last Sunday evening. MR. QUIETT and wife had retired for the night and he was telling her some stories when he suddenly became ill, and had passed away in a very few minutes, his death being from heart trouble. He had been quite feeble for some time, but was up and around town as usual on Saturday. His funeral was held at the M.E. Church yesterday afternoon.



Son of Cyrus and Nancy (Underwood) Quiett.
