GERALD C. MICHAEL, 89, of Fort Wayne died yesterday at St. Joseph Medical Center. The Geneva native lived in Fort Wayne for more than 80 years and retired from General Electric Co. as a manufacturing specialist after 42 years.
Surviving are his wife, Violet; daughter, Joan Hodde of Fort Wayne; son, Richard C. of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the chapel.
