The Rev. Joseph Crumley and the Rev. Dan McEachin will officiate, with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Chandler Keene, Clay Tolar, Wendell Luke, Bradley Luke, Matthew Schluckebier and Luke Burch will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, the Pink Ladies and Red Coats Auxiliaries of Tift Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Wallace was born on November 12, 1924, in Berrien County and was the daughter of Richard Luke and Susie Suggs Luke, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Perry Lewis; four brothers, Reason Luke, Julius Luke, Marcus Luke and L. J. Luke; two sisters, Ophelia Knight and Ima Jean Farmer; and one grandson, Eric Storey.
She was retired as the operating room secretary for 28 years at Tift Regional Medical Center and a member of Tift Avenue Church of God. She served as a Pink Lady for several years at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, David Wallace of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Lewis Storey and her husband, Ben, of Tifton, and Patsy Lewis Enochs and her husband, Wayne, of Lake City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Michelle Storey Lipsey, Sonya Storey Tolar, Sabrina Stripling Burch and Rad Calhoun; and eight great-grandchildren.
