Lois Isabell (Crissman) Ackerson, 75, of Marion Center RD2 died Thursday, April 21, 1988, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born April 4, 1913, in West Kittanning to Kashes F. and Clara (Toy) Crissman. She was a housewife and member of the Gilgel Presbyterian Church. Along with her husband she operated a dairy farm in East Mahoning Township, Indiana County, where they had resided for the past 56 years. Surviving are three sons, Arthur F. Jr. of Columbia Stations, Ohio, Larry C. of Marion Center RD2 and Richard B. of Creekside RD1; three daughters, Mrs. John (Patricia) Daugherty of Curwensville, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Stanley of Mantua, Ohio, and Mrs. Thomas (Karen) Johnson of Indiana; one brother Carl Crissman of Florida; two step-sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Marty) Aker of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Dorothy Ballinger of Monroeville; one step-brother, Kenneth Crissman of Monroeville; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Sr., in 1969, her parents; one daughter, Gloria, in 1957; one son, Danny in 1951; one brother, Roy Crissman; two step-brothers, Richard and Stuart Crissman; and two step-sisters Margaret Aker and Mildred Kudravy. ACKERSON - Friends of Lois Isabell (Crissman) Ackerson, 75, of Marion Center RD2, who died Thursday, April 21, 1988, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home in Plumville, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. R. Bruce Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Gilgal Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowser-Minich.
