Howard "Hap" Apperson
FORSYTH, MT. ----Howard 'Hap' Apperson worked in cattle ranching in Northern California and Oregon with his father and uncle before moving t the Forsyth area in the late 1970s.
He worked on various ranches in Rosebud, managed the George Gray ranch on the Little Porcupine north of Forsyth.
He was widely known for his rawhide leather work.
A navy Veteran of World War II.
He served in the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters.
Mr. Apperson, 69, died July 1 in the VA Medical Center in Denver, CO.
He was born and educated in Northern California.
There are no Know survivors.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Forsyth Veterans Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
