SHREVEPORT, LA - Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cecile Morgan Driggers, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Ray Wilson assisted by Rev. Jeanie Fentress. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cecile, daughter of Luke and Nancy Morgan, was born on December 26, 1921, and went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2011. She worked for many years as a surgical nurse at Schumpert Hospital. All along the way, she left pieces of herself with those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Driggers; grandson, Jeffrey Driggers; great-grandson, Jeremy Boyd; and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jim Driggers; daughter, Mary Morgan; sisters, Ruth Shephard and Vernell Staggs; brothers, Fred, Harold, and Horace Morgan; granddaughter, Cindy Boyd; and great-grandchildren, Jacie Wilson, Jackson Driggers, and Jeffrey Boyd.
