OBITUARY
Julia F. Tate was born in Cleburn County, Alabama April 17th, 1850.
In 1867 she was united in marriage to William F. Adrian. In 1869 they came to Texas locating in Somervill County. In 1903 she came to Oklahoma, her husband having died many years before. Her home has been at Elk City for some 34 years. She was the mother of seven children, one of whom died in infancy and one died at the age of nine.
J. A. Adrian of Los Angeles, Calif., the oldest surviving child was not present at this service.
Those present being L. L. Adrian of Trent, Texas; Mrs. W. E. Kendall of Strong City, Okla.; M. L. Adrian of Colorado, Tex.; and Mrs. Stella Tillman of Elk City, Okla. There also survived 33 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
For many years the subject of this sketch has been a loyal member of the Church of Christ. She departed this life Nov. 12th, 1937 having attained the age of 87 years, 6 months and 25 days.
