Hesia (Hexa) Tennessee “Tennie” Williams, whose parents are unknown, was born in DeKalb County, Tennessee on January 17, 1839. She was married twice. First to William Denton Trapp on January 6, 1857 in DeKalb County, Tennessee. He was the son of John Trapp and Susan McGinness,born about 1835 in Wild Cat Hollow, DeKalb County, Tennessee and died in DeKalb County, Tennessee, during the Civil War from a common disease in January 1862 while home on leave. They had two daughters, Tabitha Trapp born about 1858/59 and N. Ellen Trapp born November 27, 1860.

Bill died December 6, 1878 in DeKalb County, Tennessee. They had 4 known children all born in DeKalb County, Tennessee: Thomas Lee Allen, born January 28, 1866; Alfred Luther Allen, born August 21, 1868; A. Modena Trapp, born August 22, 1871; and Cleveland Asie Allen, born December 3, 1874.
