East Fultonham Man Summoned

Walter A. Martin, 84, of East Fultonham died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bethesda Hospital, after a week as a patient there.

Surviving are his wife, Louise; a son, Herman of 430 Market street; a daughter, Mrs. Ellen Shaw of Ridge road; two brothers, William C. of Fifth street and Henry A. of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. Grace Fisher of Middletown; three grandchildren, Mrs. Eleanor Black of East Fultonham, Robert Martin of Orient, and Albert Lellenland of Toboso; and two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Jimmy Black of East Fultonham.

Mr. Martin was born in West Virginia, the son of Joseph and Rachel Martin, and was a retired bottle-blower at Kern-Gorsuch Glass Co. He came to this city in his youth. Among the organizations in which he held memberships were the Pilgrim Evangelical and Reformed church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

The body will remain at the Mader-Peoples funeral home until funeral services, for which arrangements have not yet been made.
