Funeral Services were held at the Adams Funeral Home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. for Harve C. Hennick 74, who died Monday at Mary Greeley Hospital of thombosis following surgery. Mr. Hennick was born Oct. 5, 1880, near Shipley and was a farmer for part of his life, then took up trucking. He moved to Ames in 1923, and retired in 1951. His marriage to Alta Shearer took place in 1901. She proceeded him in death in 1935. He was married to Rosia Escherich in 1941 in Ames. He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, Cyril of Ocean City, California, Claude of Ames, Homer of Gilmore City, Mrs. Eva Popma of Dixion, Ill. Thre are five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Other survivors include 4 brothers William of Nevada, Clarence of Estherville, Irvin of Maxwell, Charels of Cambridge, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Nellie King and Mrs. Ida Leland of Cambridge. Rev. LaVern Erwin of First Christian Church officiated and burial was in Ames Municipal Cemetery. Cambridge Leader, April 28, 1955
