"Willie" Son of Civil War Governor William Sprague of Rhode Island and Kate Chase, daughter of Chief Justice Salmon P Chase. Willie had been married to Avice Weed and had a daughter Inez(Stiness-) He committed suicide in Washington State and was transported back to Rhode Island to rest in the family tomb at Swan Point, Providence.
