Mr. Royston was born in Franklin County, GA, September 08, 1930, son of the late Walter Asberry and Ruby Bernice Pierce Royston. He was a self-employed painter and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Berthene Peeples Royston of Danielsville, GA; daughters, Barbara Amanda Duncanson of Danielsville, GA, and Mary Bernice Griffeth of Savannah, GA.
Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services for Mr. Royston will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 19, 2011, at the Franklin Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Peek officiating.
The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA where the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon till 1:30 P.M. Saturday afternoon. The family is at the home.
