Joseph Martin Garrett, 82 of Williamsville, Missouri retired farmer, died yesterday at Poplar Bluff Hospital.
Mr. Garrett was born February 12, 1880 in Butler County, Missouri, he spent most of his life in Butler County until moving to Wiliamsville 10 years ago. On October 14, 1904 in Poplar Bluff, he married Marzella Ellen Ray who died several years ago.
Survivors include three sons, Lawrence of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Clorel of Avon, Illinois and Lonnie of Williamsville; three daughters, Inez Mae Hester and Lottie Mahala Thompson both of Poplar Bluff and Hazel Marie Moore of Williamsville: 22 grand-children, 30 great grand-children.
Funeral services will be tomorrow at 2 P.M. at the Williamsville Baptist Church with Rev. Victor Knodell and Rev. Orla Parker officiating. Burial will be in Black River Cemetery.
