W.L. Stockmaster Funeral Monday
Retired Reed Twp. Farmer Died Thursday
William L. Stockmaster, 81, retired Reed township farmer, died in Willard hospital at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 1953, following an illness of three years.
Born July 8, 1871, a son of Anthony and Catherine (Longacre) Stockmaster, he was married to Mary E. Reed, Nov. 28, 1900 in Reed Assumption church. He was a member of the Holy Name society.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, are a daughter Mrs. Jerome Mahl of Willard; two sons, Paul and Lawrence of Attica, nine grandchildren and one great grandshild. One son preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Attica SS Peters and Paul's Catholic church by the Rev. William Neideri. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
The body was taken to the Food funeral home in Bellevue, but friends may call at the Weaver funeral home in Attica after 7 p.m. Friday.
