Delbert C. Carpenter
Delbert C. Carpenter was born May 27th. 1903 at Florence, Kansas. He died at Good Sheppard Hospital July 4th. at the age of 65. Mr. Carpenter was a member of the Greenfield Grange at Boardman and lived in Boardman since 1923.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Carpenter of Boardman; two sons: Marvin of Umatilla and Larry L. of Renton, Washington; a daughter, Elberta Felix of Renton, Washington; five sisters, Peggy Kraft, Ruby Veach and LaVerne Hommer, all of Wichita, Kansas, and Lucille Clark of Peabody, Kansas and Mrs. Caroll Cale of Great Bend, Kansas: also seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Community Church at Boardman July 8t. with Rev. Jack Naff of the First Christian Church of Hermiston officiating. Burial was in the Boardman Cemetary.
