Jacoba was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. She served in Cherry Point, North Carolina and was Honorably Discharged on October 17, 1945. She went on in life to a career in nursing from 1963 to her retirement in 1987 from Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara.
On February 17, 1980 Jacoba was united in marriage to Albert Baez, who filled her life with love and memories. Albert preceded her in death.
Friends are invited to a Visitation on Thurs, June 5 between 6-8pm at WYANT AND SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 174 North Sunnyvale Avenue, Sunnyvale, California. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the above funeral home. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Drive, Los Altos, California. Reception to follow at Santiago Villa Club House, Mountain View, California.
