Mrs Olive Smith passed away at her house, 506 Reed Ave., early Friday morning. Heart trouble and bronchial asthma were given as the cause of passing. She had been ill for 3 weeks.

Born November 11, 1867, in Henry County near Napoleon of Peter & Catherine(Green)Bump, Mrs. Smith was 78yrs old. She lived in Toledo & Bowling Green most of her life. In 1887 she married William Lawrence, who died in 1913. She wedded again in 1918 to Seymour Van Buskirk who passed way in 1924

Mrs. Smith married for the third time in 1941 to Roy Smith and he preceded her the next year. She has been a widow for the past five years. She was a member of the United Brethren Church, and was known by her fiends to be a good mother.

Four sons and two daughters survive: Harvey of Keego Harbor, MI., Bruce of Toledo ,OH, Edward of Perrysburg, and Herbert of Galipolis, Mrs. Hazel Van Buskirk of Toledo, and Mrs. Alta Light of Mc Clure, one brother Edward Bump of Bowling Green, and one sister Bertha Collins. Besides 11 grand children and great grand children also survive.

Funeral services were held at Deck's Funeral Home at 2:00 pm today , Reverend Bierly of the Manville Ave. U. B.Church conducted the rites. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
