CEDAR GROVE: Alex Walton Wiles, 96, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at his home. Funeral servics were Friday, November 12, at 2 p.m. at Chase Funeral Home. Burial followed in Hickory Flat Cemetery.
Mr. Wiles was born January 31, 1914 in Cedar Grove to the late Alford Alex Wiles and Josie Caroline (Ross) Wiles. He was a retired production worker for the Milan Arsenal and attended Lavinia Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie F. Wiles; and a sister Mable Jewell Wiles.
Survivors include: one sister, one niece, one nephew, and several great nieces and nephews.
