"Wallace Litton Moberly was born in Sullivan county June 7, 1882, and died in Humphreys, Mo., July 26, 1921, after a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He was 39 years, 1 month and 19 days old. He was united in marriage to Miss Iva Donoho on Feb. 12, 1917. To this union, one child was born, Charlea Thomas Moberly.

He leaves, besides his wife and child, three sisters and four brothers, namely: Mrs. Les Dunlap of Trenton; Mrs. Carl Ogle, Mrs. Geo. Gailey, Frank, Walter and Ernest Moberly of Humphreys; and Earl Moberly of Milan. Besides these, a host of other relatives and friends mourn him.

Funeral services were conducted by Revs. Pollock and Hunsaker at the Christian church in Humphreys, of which Mr. Moberly was a member, at 2:30 p.m. July 27, 1921. Interment at Humphreys cemetery." The Milan Standard (Milan, Missouri), August 4, 1921
