In 1783, Mathias Wisner owned four properties in the North Hundred--Head & Tail (48 acres), Wisners Prospect (360 acres), Stevens Addition (30 acres), and Stevens Folly (22 acres). He is documented to have paid the Supply Tax of 1783 in support of the Revolutionary War, thus eligible to be designated a Patriot by the DAR.
