Glen Lamar Hochstetler, 94, Nappanee, died at 3:50 a.m. Tues. April 12, 2011 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1916 in Nappanee to Leona (Strouss) & Wallace Hochstetler. On Sept. 3, 1938, he married Margaret (Hill) Hochstetler in Kentucky and she died July 16, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Victoria O'Connell, Janesville, Wis., sons, Phillip (Patricia) Hochstetler, Nappanee, Steve (Cheryl) Hochstetler, Milford, sister, LaFerne Wilson, Bonifay, Fla., 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceding him death are two sisters, Arlene Greene and Elener Senff.
Glen retired from Nibco, Goshen, where he worked in maintenance and was owner/operator of Hochstetler Plumbing and Heating, Nappanee. He was a graduate of Nappanee High School, a member of the Nappanee Church of the Brethren and was a Mason.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thurs. April 14, 2011 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa, where the service will follow at 3 p.m. Rev. Janet McFall Brown will officiate and burial will be in South Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
