Note: He married Mary Cyr. He was son of Isaac "Ike" Staples. Clifton and Mary died same day. Clifton and Mary had thirteen children. There is a book titled "Troubled Waters". This book describes the family tree going back to the first Staples who was a debtor in England, and was brought to the states on a ship and made to jump ship a mile or so off shore and swim to shore.
