Grace M. Pomon
Grace M. Pomon, 39, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Kevin D. Pomon, with whom she shared 21 years of marriage.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of Sylvia Leibensterger Mack of GA, and the late Joseph Mack.
She was a graduate of West-Mont Christian Academy in Pottstown.
She was employed as a Teacher's Aide at East Ward Elementary School in Downingtown for 4 years.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Kevin, Jr. and Abby R. Pomon, both at home. She is also survived by her sisters, Serene S. Mack of NC, Rebekah S. Bono and husband, Brian, of PA, Martha M. Ayres of PA; and by brothers, Joseph M. Mack and wife, Maria, of Australia, Joshua C. Mack, Albert J. Mack and Caleb J. Mack and wife, Ashley, all of SC; and by her mother's fiancé, Mac McKinnon of GA. She is also survived by her mother and father in-law, Dianne and Richard Pomon of North Coventry; and by brothers and sisters-in-law, Kyle Pomon of Philadelphia, Kory Pomon of GA, Christina Steigerwalt of PA and Katie Pomon of Philadelphia. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her daughter, Nicolette A. "Nikki" Pomon, age 17, and infant granddaughter, Lillian Grace, in April of 2009.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 9 – 11 a.m. Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery.
