Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Al Wright officiating.
Mr. Banks, a native of Gough, Ga., had retired from General Motors Corp. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Waynesboro Masonic Lodge No. 274 and First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.
Survivors include two sons, James Banks, Fort Myers, Fla., and Doug Banks, Redford, Mich.; two daughters, Martha Malek, Rochester Hills, and Shelia Carter, Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Ann Douglas, Augusta; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Waynesboro, 853 Liberty St., Waynesboro, Ga. 30850.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. today at DeLoach Funeral Home.
