Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville.
Phyllis Jean Pitt was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She retired from the Zales Corporation after 18 years of service. She was a loving wife and mother for 51 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ernest and Grace Newcomer Sapp of Oklahoma City, Okla., and by her sister, Loretta Hodgson of Boulder, Colo.

Survivors: Husband, Johnny W. Pitt Jr.; daughter, Stephany Lynn and husband, Tom White, of Dallas; son, William Douglas Pitt and wife, Laurie, of Arlington; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn White, Rebecca Lynn White, Sean Douglas Pitt, Brandon Douglas Pitt, Shannon Elizabeth Pitt; nieces and nephews, David Ray Hodgson, Karen Sue Hodgson and Noel Patrick Hodgson.
