Elizabeth's parents were Samuel (1794-1849) and Henrietta Johnson (1795-1868) Pence. She married Robert Garrett in 1855 in Delta, Iowa following the death of Robert's first wife, Nancy Pence, Elizabeth's sister. They were the parents of 6 children I am aware of; Lucy A., Martha Ellen, Nancy Jane, Silas E., Robert W. and David Cheatham. After the death of Robert, Elizabeth married William Able Fear in February, 1878.
