At the age of one year she moved with her parents to a farm home in Otsego township where she lived until her marriage to Charles Tasker on October 9, 1884. To this union were born two daughters, Wava L. Dygert, who survives, and Zada E. Baker, who passed away on February 9, 1920.
Mrs. Tasker, as a bride, moved to the farm home in Scott township where she spent the remainder of her life. Her husband preceded her in death on Christmas morning, 1933.
Besides the daughter and her husband, and she leaves to mourn their loss, five grandchildren, Robert W. Dygert and Betty R. Swanstrom, of Minneapolis, Minn., Enid J. Davis, of Keokuk, Iowa; Edwin S. Dygert, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Charles Frederick Baker, of Fremont; also 12 great-grandchildren, a brother, George Maxton, and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were read at Klink’s Chapel by Rev. Ellis Roth and she was laid to rest in South Scott cemetery on December 27, at the side of her husband, just 16 years to the day after his burial.
