Barbara Leigh Vaughan, 43, of Virgilina, died October 3, 2001 at the home of her parents, Albert and Mary Vaughan. Ms. Vaughan was born June 8, 1958. She is survived by one daughter, Yasmine; her parents, brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at Aarons Creek Baptist Church today, October 5 at 2 p.m., with visitation immediately following at the church. Burial will be private. Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider the Halifax County Cancer Association, 1710 Jeffress Blvd., South Boston, or Halifax Home Health, 2204 Wilborn Ave., South Boston.
