Clifford Allen, 28 years old husband and father, of 822 E. William St., died this morning at 5:15 AM in the Ottumwa hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary [Mullen] Allen, a son Clifford, Jr. five years old, and his mother Mrs. Mary A. Allen; and a brother, Carl all of Ottumwa. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his father and brother.
He was a graduate of the, Class of 1926, Ottumwa High School and was employed by the Sieg Ottumwa Company.
Funeral services will be held at the Vaughan funeral Chapel at 8:30 AM Monday and at nine o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where a Requiem High Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. P. J. Casey, assistant pastor.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Until the hours of services the body will remain at the Vaughan funeral Chapel, where friends may call.
