Last found on the 1940 Census for New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York and mentioned in the August 1948 obituary for her sister, Louise Franklin Bache. In September 1953 she and her sister, Betty Bache, are mentioned as returning to their home in New Rochelle, New Jersey after the summer. The Chicago Daily News, Thursday, February 20, 1964 published an article stating that Harriet Bache, age 71 of New Rochelle, New York died chasing a purse snatcher in Tucson, Arizona.
