Ada B. Colberg, 83, of Cypress, Calif., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at Country Villa Belmont Heights in Long Beach, Calif.

Ada Suhr was born Aug. 7, 1918, in Uehling. She attended school in the Webster area. She married Eugene H. Colberg June 1, 1946, in Omaha. They moved to California in 1953. He spouse preceded her in death in 1978.

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Cypress, sang in the choir and served in various ladies organizations within the church.

Survivors include: a daughter, Judith (Mrs. Tom) Scott of Schuyler; a brother Leonard (and wife, Delores) Suhr of Scribner; and three grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Schuyler. The Rev. Terry Timm will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Kracl Funeral Chapel in Schuyler with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Friday at the church. Burial will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Hooper.

A memorial has been established to Trinity Lutheran Building Fund.
