Kershaw - Mrs. Ida Mae Bowers Sowell, 80 of 1852 Thornhill Rd., died March 6, 1995, at Bethea Baptist Home in Darlington. Funeral is 11 am Thursday at Pineview Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Revs. Chester Rains and Bryant Fersner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sowell born in Heath Springs, was a daughter of the late Joe and Nannie Blackmon Bowers. She was a homemaker and the widow of Robert Sowell.
Survivors are her son, Milton Sowell, daughter, Mrs. Nancy Bennett; brother, Joe Bowers of Charleston; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
