Burlington Hawk Eye - Tuesday, February 22, 1972 - Mrs. Anne Cummins Culbertson, 90, died at her home at 900 S. Garfield Avenue Monday, Feb. 21.
A native of Des Moines, Mrs. Culbertson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cummins and was born Nov. 1, 1881. She was a niece of Albert B. Cummins, one-time Iowa Governor and U.S. Senator.
She married the late Roger Culbertson in Des Moines on Sept. 9, 1909. Mrs. Culbertson was a member of Plymouth Congregational church of Des Moines and of the PEO Sisterhood.
Surviving: A daughter, Mrs. Jane Fuller, with whom she made her home; three grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
The body was cremated and the ashes will be interred in Carroll cemetery, at Carroll. Sheagren funeral home was in charge of arrangements. A memorial to Mrs. Culbertson has been established at First Congregational church.
