Romii had two siblings:
a brother Robert Harrison Beale who married Lilly Fuller; and a sister Nellie Belle Beale, who married Romii's husband Will's brother, Robert Overby.
Romii married Willie Burton Overbey and had 16 children, two dying in infancy. One of the homes where the family lived was on a large farm owned by Pig Harris (Arthur B. Harris Sr.) They worked the land and shared the crops.
