Bio:
Brent Bramel left this world at his home in Rolla, Mo. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at the age of 64. Brent was born on December1 8, 1950 in Newburg, mo. He graduated from Newburg High School in 1968. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He most recently worked at and retired from Trans-Ocean. He loved and lived in the area most of his life. Brent loved hunting and fishing, and was a sports enthusiast. He also enjoyed antique cars. Brent had a passion for life and the outdoors and knew the river as home. He left behind a host of friends and family who adored him and will miss his smile, generous spirit and infectious laughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Joanne Macormic, Glenn Bramel and brother, Kirby Bramel. He left behind his loving wife, Sandy of the home; son, Travis Watkins; daughter, Barb Adam and grandson, Baell Watkins and Brandon Adam of Rolla; siblings include James and wife, Catherine Macormic of Rolla; Cecilia Macormic of St. Louis; Teresa Demis, of St. Louis; George R. and wife, Shary Macormic of Newburg, Lance and wife, DeAnn Macormic, of Rolla, Margaret Macormic, of Blue Springs, Kent and wife, Linda Bramel, of St. James, Kimberly Bramel, of Salem, and Kyle Bramel, of Salem.
He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews as well as numerous extended family and a very special friend, Jim Manes.
A celebration and memorial for Brent will be held in the near future.
