The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Eugene for Darold Wesley "Alex" Alexander of Eugene. He died Aug. 3, of congestive heart failure at age 75.
He was born Aug. 27, 1932, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Edward and Imus Vaughn. He and his wife, Patricia, were married Aug. 17, 1953, in Spokane.
Alexander attended Gonzaga University and held a degree in pharmacy from Washington State University. He worked as a pharmacist.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark; three daughters, Christie Heinonen of Portland, Mary Gould of Anchorage and Julie Alexander of Eugene ; six grandchildren.
