Grace E. Cramer, 85, of route 2, Montpelier, died Wednesday morning July 29, 1981, in the Betz Nursing Home in Auburn, Ind., following a sudden illness. Born April 15, 1896 near Evansport in Defiance County, she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Linebrink) and William Frank. Mrs. Cramer was a lifelong Williams County area resident. The widow of Orville J. Cramer, she was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and for many years had been the Mount Zion neighborhood Correspondent for the Montpelier Leader-Enterprise. Surviving are three sons, Harvey of Route 1, Edgerton, Lawrence of Toledo and Ralph of Route 3, Montpelier; a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Marie) Trausch of Route 1, Edon; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Harley (Anita) Frank of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her husband and a granddaughter, Carol Sue Cramer. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier with Dr. F.M. Wentz officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
