PASSES AWAY
Dr. Thomas P. Schwartz, a resident of Reno and Sparks for many years died last night at a local hospital. He had been in failing health for several years.
He had been a practicing veterinarian for many years making his home on the county road at Sparks for a long time. He was a familiar figure about Reno, most of the time driving a horse and buggy and was well known among the cattlemen of Western Nevada.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eliza J. Schwartz, a daughter, Mrs. A.F. burns of Danesville, Cal., and a sister Mrs. Ora Lorensen of Pismo Beach, Cal. Born in Iowa, he was sixty-three years old.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock at the Ross-Burke chapel. Interment will be in Mountain View cemetery.
