Mrs. Lille Mae Adams, 74, who died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday at her home, 508 South Smyth street, were held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the First Methodist church, with the pastor, Rev. W.M. Greenwaldt, officiating. Interment in Mart cemetery. Littlepage in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Adams had lived in Mart for over 40 years, her husband, Obe Adams, preceding her in death a number of years ago. For the past several months she had been in ill health. Early in life she became a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include: four daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Hudgens of Houston, Mrs. Ersie Woodard of Corsicana, Mrs. Vera Rutherford of Gatesville, and Mrs. Loraine Cosgrove of San Antonio; a niece, Mrs. Allene Woodruff; two sisters, Mrs. W.A. Thrower of Waco and Mrs. B.K. Harris of Baytown; two brothers, S.J. Miles of Corsicana and M.C. Miles of Kerens.
Pallbearers were: C.J. House, James Boren, Ralph Garland, Rex Martin, L.K. Hardeman and Sidney Chadwell.
