ENNIS RAY RAGON was the son of Samuel Bennett Ragon and Mrs. Mary Etta (Blackburn) Ragon.

He married Miss Melvin Smith on February 22, 1923 in Harrison County, Texas.

Obituary
"Funeral services for Ennis Ray Ragon, 81, of Route 2, Diana, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cothron-Blalack & Huffman Funeral Home chapel, in Marshall, with the Rev. J. Hubert Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, in Harleton, under the direction of Cothron-Blalack & Huffman Funeral Home.

Mr. Ragon, 81, died Thursday morning at Marshall Manor Nurshing Home, following a lengthy illness. He was born September 2, 1891, in Harleton, the son of Sam Ragon and Mrs. Mary Etta Blackburn Ragon. Mr. Ragon was a farmer and a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Odell Pullen, of Diana; one sister, Mrs. Cleo McKinley, of Diana; one brother, Hugh A. Ragon, of Harleton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren."
