John Vick, of 2616 Greene, owner of the Livestock Clearing House with offices in Livestock Exchange Building, died early Thursday afternoon in a hospital after suffering a heart attack Thursday morning.
He was born in Rockdale and spent most of his life in Fort Worth.
Vick was a member of First Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and a life member of Knights Templar.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Vick, a son, John T. Vick, and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Guse, all of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. L. M. Anderson of Hale Center, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harveson & Cole Funeral Home with Rev. Gaston Foote officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood.
