Wilbur D. "Nick" Bault

Wilbur D. "Nick" Bault, 81, of Marseilles, passed away Sunday April 10, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born October 14, 1929 in Marseilles to Finis and Anna (Bowen) Bault. In 1956, he married Kay Thalmann of Oneida, Ill. who preceded him in death in 2004.
He was a member of the Marseilles Lions Club and served on the Building Corporation Board. He also was a member of the Moose and bowled in several leagues and was in the Bowling Hall of Fame. He was employed by Libbey Owens Ford until his retirement in 1987.
He is survived by one daughter, Melissa (Marshall Sayad) Bault of Naperville; one son, Kyle (Laurel) Bault of Elgin; two grandchildren, Jason and Erin Bault; and two sisters, Evelyn Helgeson of Morris and Doris (John) Capsel of Seneca.
He was preceded in death by his wife; four brothers, Carl, Paul, Robert, and Harold Bault; and one sister, Iylene Clairmont.
Memorials may be directed to the Marseilles Lions Club.
