Stephn P. Huss, 65, of 1104 West St., a chef at Hotel Hamilton for many years, retirering in 1961, died yesterday in his home.
Mr. Huss was born in Austria-Hungary and moved to Little Falls in 1910 with his parents. He married Ruth R. Leon in 1936. Mr Huss had live in Utica since 1953. He was a member of St Francis de Sales Church and the Utica Moose Lodge.
Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Mrs. Alex ( Christina ) Luxeder, Akron, Ohio and two brothers, John Huss, Chicago and Michael Huss, Austria.
The funeral will be at 8:45 Monday from the Ortner Funeral Home and at 9 from St Francis de Sales Church with a solemn requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Herkimer.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow and Sunday.
