HENRY OUTCALT - 1880, Demise of Henry Outcalt on Thursday Evening Last.
Last Thursday evening, Henry Outcalt died at his residence on South Street after a brief illness. He had taken a severe cold a few days before, and was suffering a quite a good deal from its effects. He was confined to his bed about two days, when death ended his sufferings. He was in his 75th year; had lived in Wilmington about 40 years. His funeral took place last Sabbath afternoon from the family residence. Revs. Chas. Ferguson and B.Y. Seigfried officiated. A large attendance was present to pay the last tribute of love and respect to the departed. He was fully ready for the end of his life when it came. In his death, Wilmington has lost a good citizen and an upright man. His aged children and widow have our sympathy.
