NEW ROCKFORD Malcolm Edward "Mick" Thompson, 81, New Rockford, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in a Carrington hospital.
He was born Feb. 26, 1930, to Iver and Gena Thompson, in Glenwood City, Wis. He enlisted in the Army in 1951 and served in Korea. He married Dory Lucht on Dec. 6, 1953, in New Rockford.
Survivors: wife; sons, Michael, Cathay, Wayne, Salt Lake City, Kenneth, New Rockford, Rodney, West Fargo, David, Wentzville, Mo.; daughter, Deborah Bush, Fargo; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug, Stan, Bud, Bruce, Gordy, Ralph, Jerry, Steve and Mark; sisters, Jean Swenby, Eileen Duvall and Linda Mulheron.
Funeral: Monday, 10:30 a.m., First Lutheran Church, New Rockford.
Burial: Prairie Home Cemetery, New Rockford.
