Anna (or Ann) Wylie was born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1806, the first child of John and Elizabeth (Young) Wylie. She was named for her father's mother. Anna married Samuel R. Young around 1827 and they started their family. In the 1830s, the Youngs and Wylies moved to Logan County, Ohio, where Ann died in 1843. Her widower, Samuel R. Young, never remarried. He moved with his family in the 1850s to Washington County, Iowa and finally in the early 1870s to Jewell County, Kansas.

Eliza Jane Young, married Ephraim Leasure and had 4 children (Samuel, Wm Henry, Margaret and Martha).
Margaret (Margery) Ann Young, married Denton Leasure and had 3 children (Mary E, John Henry, Samuel Robert).
Nancy Young, did not marry but had a son John Theodore Young.
