Stockwell, Oct 9 - Charles H Lindsay, 75, native of Lauramie township, died at the place of his birth and the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ernest Clark, five miles south of Monroe, at 8:15 o'clock last night. He had been in failing health for some time. Born February 15, 1860, the son of Henry and Eliza Lindsay, he married Mrs. Orpha Reser Feb 12, 1884, and followed farming all his life. He was also connected with an insurance company at Mulberry for several years. He was a member of the Monroe U B Church. Surviving, besides the daughter at whose home he died, are two brothers, S O Lindsay, of Dayton, and Frank Lindsay, of Brooklyn, NY, and a sister, Mrs. Lula Cochran of West Lafayette. A granddaughter also survives. The body was removed to the Dickerson funeral home here and was to be taken to the family home this evening where friends may call.
